Hello Friends,

It is great to see you guys posting on our blog and the wheels of words now seem to have been set in motion.

And for the rest who haven’t yet started writing or posting stuff, I wonder what you are waiting for?

Your minds are filled with thoughts and ideas that are waiting to be set free, waiting to be transformed in to a form of expression. And what better way than to use this blog for expressing what you think or feel.  

Writing liberates your ideas which otherwise stay confined within your minds. It sets your thoughts free and inspires others to share their thoughts with you. It does not matter how skilled you are at writing, it is just a beautiful mode of expression through which you can expect to be truly understood by others, to be able to feel connected with your innermost emotions and with your friends and other like-minded people.  

     

You don’t need to be born with a gift, you simply need to develop your skills to make it seem like you’ve been born with it. And it is not a question of skill here, it is just a matter of will. A will to write and express yourselves by weaving words into a string of emotions which might provide insight into your thoughts and personality and as a result let your hidden traits and character be visible to your own self and to others.

I hope to see every one joining in and writing some original material. Like they say “Write only what you alone can write.” and hence i do not wish to see you all pasting stuff from the internet. 

You can wish to write an article or a story. Short or long, doesn’t matter, but it should be your own.  

Write about an incident you come across on the street while you were on your way back home that made you smile or made you cry, anything that inspired you or anything that filled you with sorrow.  

Or a poem you wrote and are feeling too shy to recite and wish you could let them know. You can write a movie review here after watching one, we would love to read your thoughts about it. You can write about what you did today or what you would’ve liked to do. You can write about so many things, the list is endless and there is so much space for creativity that you can never stop.

So I urge you all to write and read each other's posts and encourage one another other to express more.

I’d like to end this post with a wonderful quote that I had read somewhere once and hope it makes sense to all of you and inspires you all to write.
